New features and optimizations for great autumn events!
We have been working hard all summer to develop some exciting new features at talque and are thrilled to introduce them at the start of the new event season. These enhancements include a new partner meeting feature, an enhanced schedule view and many other exciting improvements for you to discover.
An important upgrade for your event partners: Enable attendees to book meetings with them!
Your partners determine the available meeting slots themselves or rely on the default selection. These free slots are displayed directly in the partner profile and can be booked automatically by the participants with just one click. The administrators of the partner profile have the option to confirm or reject these bookings and assign them directly to an employee.
Enhanced participant management
Now, you have can filter users in the admin area under the “Invitations” tab to make more precise selections. The updated selection tool makes it easier for you to send individual invites or reminders. The tool allows you to filter by participant ticket category, so you can sort groups, such as speakers, with ease. We have also reorganized the action buttons and placed them on the left to optimize the available functions.
You can select and deselect all available columns with the 3 dash icon on the right.
Please note: The buttons will not become active until at least one person is selected or the “Select All” box next to the “First Name” field is checked.
Updated table view for exhibitors & sponsors (partners)
The extended list view simplifies your work as an organizer. It allows you to filter all profile content efficiently. This update has numerous advantages, including:
- Logo: A green checkmark indicates that the partner has uploaded a logo.
- Description: a green check indicates that the partner has entered a description.
- Last edit: you can see if and when the partner has last edited the partner profile form.
Now, the “Company name” and “Display name” are two distinct categories on the platform. This gives the partner the option to specify a shorter display name in in talque (display name, e.g. on map), and the profile is still searchable under the original name (actual company name). To adjust the display order, you can simply click on the column header. To enable or disable all available filter options, open the 3-dash menu.
Please note: at the request of several customers, the confirmation process in company profiles will be completely disabled in a few weeks.
New schedule start time view
A third agenda view has been added to the participant view on the desktop. The start time view resembles our popular plugin view most closely and is especially useful if your schedule contains several parallel sessions. All sessions that start at the same time are clearly summarized.
You can activate this new view under the schedule > settings tab in the admin area. All enabled options will then be available to the user in the top right corner.
Close pop-up chats with one-click
It’s now possible to close popup chats with one click.
Simplified networking and lead generation
Our new feature makes it even easier for your event participants to get in touch with each other. Instead of the classic exchange of business cards, you can now use the talque app to network directly via a QR code. Simply pull out your cell phone, scan the QR code of the other person to automatically create a chat. Once you have connected on talque, you can view their profile, make video calls, and send chat messages. The scan function is available at the top right corner of the home page.

New design for the mobile startpage
Starting this month, you can present your event highlights more clearly! You can now display special content, speakers, and sponsors directly on the start page at any point during or after the event.
