Since the goal is to create meaningful connections between participants, Sponsors and Exhibitors promoting personal interaction is central to the success of the event. The aim was to use digital tools to promote local engagement.
Participants, sponsors and exhibitors should receive the best possible support in making contacts and learning from each other.

Solution for more interaction at the event
The organizers were looking for a trustworthy platform that would enable visitors to find their way around the conference and make contacts. Through our interactive event platform Hinterland of Things was able to achieve this goal and hold an excellent event.

Two weeks before the conference, users were able to create a talque profile and start networking using our messaging app and video call platform. With the help of talque's “speed networking” function, meetings could easily be arranged on site.

After their arrival, visitors were able to orient themselves around the event using our interactive map and plan their day using the customizable agenda. Another advantage: our digital time tool solution helps to reduce waste, as paper flyers are no longer required. Protecting the environment is one of the many benefits of using talque as a tool for your hybrid event!
The news feed was another useful feature that made it possible to receive updates in real time. In addition, there was a push notification to remind you of the start times of the lectures.

We also helped visitors register for the Hinterland of Things Masterclasses. Die Event app was not only helpful for participants, but also helped exhibitors and sponsors to reach their audience better. In addition, talque provided fast and reliable support to the Hinterland of Things team.

The Hinterland of Things is a renowned Technology conference in Germany with the aim of promoting technological development and innovation in German SMEs.
Meet every year more than 1300 participants from all over the world in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, to network, share knowledge and promote innovation.
In 2020, conference organizers began working with talque. One of the main goals was to improve the interaction of participants on site using digital tools.

Although the event had to be postponed due to Covid in 2021, it took place in June 2022 with more participants than ever before.


For the Waterkant Festival — a two-day business and startup event — the event app was a clear upgrade, both visually and functionally. Participants always had a clear overview of the schedule, agenda, and speaker profiles, while companies, startups, and sponsors were able to present themselves effectively.
The networking features were particularly valuable, enabling genuine connections and meaningful exchange. The setup process with the talque team was smooth, approachable, and highly professional — a collaboration that significantly enhanced the overall event experience for everyone involved.
