Your Mission
Help Design and Build the Backend Systems That Power Real-Time Interactions at Large Live Events.
From Participant Networking to Ticketing Systems and Event Logistics, Your Work Will Directly Support Platforms Used by Thousands of people simultaneously during live events.
You will work closely with our engineering team to improve the architecture of our Python services and data infrastructure.
Your Goals (First 12 Months)
Within your first year you will:
- Become a core contributor to our Python backend architecture
- Implement and maintain Scalable backend services
- Improve the Data Model and Repository Layer
- Help refine and extend our API architecture
- Optimize performance for large event datasets
- Contribute to Search and indexing features
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers Integrating TypeScript clients
Your Profile
Hard Skills
- Strong experience with modern python
- Comfortable working with Type annotations and strict mypy typing
- Experience building clean API layers (CRUD/REST)
- Experience with Databases and ORM Patterns
- Familiarity with NoSQL systems Is a plus
- Experience with Elasticsearch/Elasticsearch DSL Is a plus
- Experience with Google Cloud/App Engine Python Is a plus
- Familiarity with CQRS-style architectures Is a plus
- Basic understanding of TypeScript and how frontend clients consume APIs
- A GitHub Profile with Meaningful Projects or Contributions

Your mission
You create exceptional event experiences for medium-sized customers — from small to large conferences to agency events and regional trade fairs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end setup, implementation and support of events on the TALQUE platform.
Your goals (outcomes in the first year)
- Successful implementation of 15—25 events within your managed accounts
- Reduction of churn through consistent technical and operational support
- Documentation and standardization of 5—8 central event setup workflows and identification of 3—4 automation or tool improvements that reduce manual work
- Parallel scaling of your portfolio: manage 5—8 accounts with multiple events at the same time — without loss of quality in delivery or customer satisfaction
Your profile
Hard Skills
- Platform configuration & integrations: HTML, YAML and JSON are familiar; you certainly use browser developer tools for client-side debugging
- Event management basics: time and resource planning, stakeholder coordination, structured data management
- Project tracking & documentation: Safe use of Jira, workflow automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Make) and internal wikis
- Basic API understanding: Knowledge of REST concepts and third-party integrations (e.g. Zoom, Slack, live streaming services)
- Languages: C1 level German, B2 level English for customer communication and internal documentation
Soft Skills
- trial- and scaling thinking: You identify bottlenecks and suggest systematic, sustainable improvements
- Pragmatic working style: focus on iterative, deliverable solutions instead of perfectionism

Your tasks
Customer & event delivery
- Main contact person for 8—12 medium-sized accounts (small to medium-sized conferences, agency events, regional trade fairs)
- Carrying out kick-off calls and defining schedules, deliverables and success criteria
- Technical setup of new events on the TALQUE platform: data migration, platform configuration, custom HTML/YAML, integrations
- Technical support for customers and participants via chat, email and telephone
- Live support during events including real-time troubleshooting (remote)
Process & knowledge management
- Documentation and maintenance of central event setup workflows and InternerRunbooks
- Identification and implementation of automations (e.g. Jira automations, scripts for data migration)
- Development and maintenance of templates, checklists and configuration standards to reduce setup time
- Development of an internal knowledge base for recurring customer problems and solutions
- Supporting and mentoring teammates on processes and best practices
Customer Health & Feedback
- analysis of recurring patterns (product gaps, process problems)
- Structured escalation of insights to product owners and operations leadership
Continuous improvement & scaling
- Regular review of your own portfolio performance
- Active participation in ops retrospectives and contribution of scalable improvement ideas
- Monitoring and reporting of relevant event delivery figures
- Optimizing internal workflows to be able to manage more accounts in parallel in the long term
