Starting point
A specialist event for cooperative banks, previously with the programme on the website
CP BAP's geno.bip is aimed at board members, specialists and managers of cooperative banks. On 18 June 2026, around 310 attendees came together at the Flora in Cologne to put current topics into context and exchange ideas with colleagues: from steering, processes and sales to regulation such as CRR III and ESG, all the way to digitalisation and AI.
talque was not new territory for the team. At previous editions, the programme ran via the talque website plugin on CP BAP's website. For 2026, the team took a big step further and used a full event app for the first time.

Challenge
More than 50 programme items in one day
With more than 50 programme items in a single day, the programme was too extensive to present clearly on paper. At the same time, the geno.bip audience is a classic leadership audience: not everyone is particularly tech-savvy, and many come to the event without a company phone. So the app had to work without lengthy explanations.
Registration and invoicing were deliberately meant to stay with CP BAP. The app was to sit alongside the existing processes, not replace them.
The goals:
- Make the complete programme clear and digitally available
- Roll out short-notice changes without reprinting
- Provide presentations directly at each programme item
- Encourage exchange among attendees

Solution
The complete agenda in the app, with no plan B on paper
The programme in the app
64 sessions and 61 speakers, clearly organised with quick filters, different formats and assigned topics. For every programme item, the presentation was available as a PDF directly in the agenda.
Consistently digital
CP BAP deliberately decided against a printed agenda. Anyone who wanted to see the programme used the app. That meant there was only one current version of the programme, and changes reached everyone immediately.
Exchange and exhibitors
Attendee profiles, chat and exhibitor presentations in one app. Attendees could add their areas of expertise, such as ESG risks, process controlling or AI, and so find the right people to talk to.

Results
91 percent usage and a help desk with plenty of free time
342 people registered on the platform. On site, 91 percent of attendees used the app, without any printed alternative. For an audience working with an event app for the first time, that is a strong figure.
The help desks that had been set up were hardly needed, and there was hardly any negative feedback from the audience. Programme changes could be rolled out at short notice without reprinting anything. Attendees also exchanged 213 chats.

Why talque
Start small, grow with the event
geno.bip shows how the move from a website programme to an event app succeeds: step by step, with a partner who already knows the event.
- For organisers: Registration and invoicing stay in your own system, the app is added on top.
- For attendees: Programme, presentations, speakers and contacts in one place, even without much tech experience.
- For specialist events with a packed programme: More than 50 programme items stay clear and up to date at all times.
