New features and optimizations for a great event autumn!
We haven’t slept through the summer, but have been hard at work to introduce you to some exciting new features at talque at the start of the new event season. These include a new partner meeting feature, an optimized schedule view and many other exciting improvements waiting for you to explore.
An important upgrade for your event partners: Allow attendees to book meetings with them!
Your partners determine the available meeting slots themselves or rely on the default selection. These free slots are displayed directly in the partner profile and can be booked automatically by the participants with just one click. The administrators of the partner profile have the possibility to confirm or reject these bookings and assign them directly to an employee.
Extended participant management
From now on, you can select people even more precisely in the admin area under the “Invitations” tab. Among other things, the improved selection option makes it easier for you to invite or remind individual people. Thanks to the new filter options by participant ticket category, you can now also address entire groups of people separately, such as speakers. To make the best use of the available functions, we have restructured the action buttons and placed them on the left.
You can select and deselect all available columns with the 3 dash icon on the right.
Please note: The buttons will not become active until at least one person is selected or the “Select All” box next to the “First Name” field is checked.
Updated table view for exhibitors & sponsors (partners)
The extended list view makes your work as an organizer even easier. It is faster and allows you to filter all profile content. This brings numerous advantages, including:
- Logo: A green checkmark indicates that the partner already has a logo stored.
- Description: a green tick indicates that the partner has already entered a description.
- Last edit: it is displayed if and when the partner has last edited the partner profile form.
From now on there is the new subdivision into “Company name” and “Display name”. This gives the partner the possibility to specify a shorter and more concise name for display in talque (display name, e.g. on map), while you still find the profile under the original name it was created under (actual company name). To adjust the display order, you can simply click on the column header. To enable or disable all available filter options, open the 3-dash menu.
Please note: at the request of several customers, the confirmation process in company profiles will be completely disabled in a few weeks.
New schedule start time view
The two existing agenda views in the participant view on the desktop have now been joined by a third. This is the closest to our popular plugin view and is especially useful if your schedule contains many parallel sessions: the start time view. All sessions that start at the same time are clearly summarized.
You can activate this new view under the schedule > settings tab in the admin area. All enabled options will then be freely available to the user in the top right corner.
Close pop-up chat in one-click
From now on it is possible to close popup chats with one click.
Even easier networking and lead generation
Our new feature makes it even easier for your event participants to get in touch with each other. Instead of the classic exchange of business cards, you can now use the talque app to network directly via a QR code. Simply pull out your cell phone, scan the QR code of the other person and the chat between the users is created. After networking, profile views and video calls are possible in addition to the exchange of chat messages. The scan function can be found at the top right of the home page.
New design for the mobile startpage
From this month on you can present your event highlights even better! Before, during and after the event it is now possible to display special content or speakers and sponsors directly on the start page.
